MrB89 Ring

The MrB89 ring represents a premium option, primarily due to its price, as it is not a traditional molding process. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and the meticulous work done by professional jewelers, the costs increase significantly.

As for the design process itself, it is similar to creating a logo.

The creation of a logo involves designing a symbol or representative image that identifies a company, brand, or organization. It is a process that requires a combination of creativity, graphic design, and branding strategy.

During the creation of a logo, various elements are considered, such as the company name, industry, values, brand personality, and target audience. Extensive research is conducted to understand the brand's identity and goals, which are then visually translated through shapes, colors, typography, and composition.

A logo aims to be distinctive, memorable, and represent the essence and values of the brand in a concise and immediate manner. It is used to identify and differentiate the company or product from competitors and is often applied to various mediums such as websites, marketing materials, physical products, and more.

In my case, the logo that represents me is intentionally simple and recognizable. It is a lettering logo that focuses on the use of shapes and typographic styles to create a distinctive visual identity.

The goal of the logo is to communicate clearly and directly the three elements that make up

"Mister Boris 89":

- "Mister" is not intended as a label related to men or masculinity, but rather as a tribute to an old Senegalese friend who affectionately greeted me using the expression "mister" as a synonym for "hey, my friend." I decided to keep it as a sign of friendship towards him.

- "Boris" is my stage name, which I adopted during my graffiti artist period, as it means "warrior" in Slavic language. I immediately liked it, and over the years, it has become my artistic identity.

- "89" represents the year of my birth, which is 1989.

The MrB89 logo aims to synthesize these three elements into a design that is immediately recognizable and conveys my artistic identity, the connection with a special friend, and my birth year.

Digital concept realised by the company Nove25 of my ring.

After sending my logo to the Nove25 company, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which the design team sent me the concept of the ring. They were quick in translating the logo design into a tangible idea of how the ring would be made.

The process of creating a ring, starting from the concept provided through digital software to its actual production, involves several steps and processes.

Here is a general description of how the ring creation process takes place:

- Concept and Design: Once the logo concept is provided to the company, the design team uses advanced digital software to transform the design into a three-dimensional model. This step allows visualizing the final look of the ring and making any necessary modifications or refinements.

- 3D Modeling: Using 3D modeling software, the designer creates a digital model of the ring, which includes design details, dimensions, proportions, and other specific elements. This digital model will serve as the basis for the subsequent production phase.

- 3D Printing or Milling: Once the 3D model is completed, the physical model can be produced. There are two main methods to obtain the physical model: 3D printing and milling. 3D printing uses a machine that layers materials like resin or metal powder to create the ring layer by layer. Milling, on the other hand, employs a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to carve the ring from a solid block of material, such as metal.

- Finishing and Craftsmanship: Once the physical model of the ring is obtained, it undergoes a series of craftsmanship processes to achieve the desired finish. These processes may include polishing, welding separate parts, adding details or engravings, and other requested customizations.

- Surface Finishing: After the craftsmanship processes, the ring goes through a surface finishing process to achieve the desired texture or color. This may include plating with precious metals, applying special coatings, or other techniques to enhance the final appearance of the ring.

- Quality Control: Before the final delivery, the ring undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure it meets the required standards. This control may include checking dimensions, solidity, and alignment with the original design.

- Final Delivery: Once the quality control is passed, the ring is packaged and delivered to the customer.

It is important to note that the actual process of creating a ring can vary depending on the company's specifications and the materials used. However, this general description provides an idea of how the transition from the digital concept to the physical ring takes place.
