Lido Camping Italia
On May 14, 2022, my first market took place, marking my initial experience in showcasing my illustrations in all their "forms" (cardboard prints, paintings, t-shirts, embroidered vests).
The market was held at Lido Italia Camping in Castelletto Ticino, Novara province (Italy). My day started at 9:00 in the morning, and I was filled with excitement and enthusiasm for this first-time experience.
However, I must say that once I arrived at the camping site and got to know the other hobbyists, any hesitation disappeared.

Lido Camping Italia in Castelletto Ticino is a charming place nestled on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Its pitches, surrounded by lush greenery and majestic ancient trees, offer a haven of shade and coolness on hot summer days.
Throughout the day, I had the pleasure of meeting numerous families who were enjoying the sun and the crystal-clear waters of the lake, organizing picnics and spending pleasant moments immersed in nature.
The campsite's privileged location allows easy access to a wide range of activities nearby. Nature lovers can enjoy exciting panoramic hikes, visit charming historic villages, and embark on delightful bike rides along the picturesque cycle path that runs alongside the lake.
Lido Camping Italia is truly a place of relaxation, where people can disconnect from their daily routines and recharge their energies by immersing themselves in the beauty of the surrounding nature. The serenity and tranquility offered by the campsite create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking a relaxing holiday experience.
My stall.
During my first exhibition, I realized that my stall wasn't filled with a wide variety of items, but that didn't affect my experience. What truly mattered to me was establishing direct contact with the audience and creating an atmosphere of curiosity and interest around my artworks.
Despite the hot afternoon temperatures, which prompted many people to seek shelter in the shade, there were still questions and conversations with visitors. In particular, the children were excited and curious, drawn to the illustrations of their sports idols. It was gratifying to see the spark of interest in their eyes and be able to answer their questions with enthusiasm.

Towards the late afternoon, as the temperature slightly eased, the crowd and interest towards my stall grew. People approached, admired the exhibited artwork, and left positive comments. It was a gratifying moment for me as an artist, as my work was appreciated and evoked emotions in people.
Ultimately, despite the modest quantity of items on display, I had the opportunity to establish a connection with the audience, answer their questions, and share my passion for art. This experience has motivated me to continue expanding my stall and participating in other events, hoping to generate even more interest and satisfaction among the audience.
