The band Goraman & Easy Reggae Band was formed for the project "Bob Marley is BACK". This project involves the collaboration between Goraman, the stage name of Gora Diop, a Senegalese artist who has been living in Novara for several years, and the Easy Reggae Band.

His first musical experience came as a keyboardist and singer in an established reggae group called "I Rastaflow" (a tribute to Bob Marley and original songs) at the age of 14.

After this initial collaboration, Goraman left the group to pursue a solo career.

Many of his songs have a social dimension, addressing topics such as immigration and portraying the struggles, loneliness, and desire for integration.

One notable example is the song "Wu cumprà." However, Goraman never forgets his origins, and in many songs, he communicates using a blend of Italian, Senegalese dialect, French, and Wolof, as seen in "Yaye," a song dedicated to his mother.

Goraman has organized concerts and events in various venues and has also served as the artistic director at the Lollipop Club.

- Libbo (on piano)

- Cana (on guitar)

A group of friends brought together by their shared passion for reggae, they played old school reggae tracks. Over the years, the band members have changed.

My graphic work has focused primarily on creating the logo, and then continuing with the design of flyers for the live events of the band.

Initially, the logo was only associated with the band, but with the arrival of Goraman, it became necessary to revise the graphic design.

The first logo is a reinterpretation of the existing logo, created by the guitarist (Cana) during the early days of the ensemble. It was simple and clear at first glance.

The final logo symbolizes the ances

tral animal in Rastafari/Reggae culture, namely the lion, aiming to emphasize a spirited essence.
