Event Flyers
A flyer for an event is a type of promotional material used to disseminate information and invite the public to attend a specific event, such as concerts, festivals, conferences, theatrical performances, or parties.
The flyer plays an important role in communicating the event by providing essential details such as the date, time, venue, and main attractions.
A well-designed and eye-catching flyer is crucial in grabbing people's attention and generating interest in the event. It should be visually appealing and contain clear and concise information. Some key elements that a flyer should include are:
- Title and subtitle: An engaging and captivating title that grabs the reader's attention and provides a brief description of the event. The subtitle can provide additional details or an intriguing message.
- Date, time, and location: Essential information to let people know when and where the event will take place. Ensure that they are clearly visible and easy to find.
- Event description: A brief description that highlights the unique features of the event, such as artist performances, workshops, special activities, or any unique element that might interest the audience.
- Images or graphics: Use eye-catching and relevant images or graphics to capture attention and communicate the atmosphere or style of the event.
- Contact information: Provide contact information, such as a phone number, email address, or website, to allow people to get further information or purchase tickets for the event.
- Logo or branding: Include the organizer's logo or branding to reinforce the visual identity and provide a reference point for the audience.
It's important to design a flyer that is clear, consistent, and visually appealing. Use vibrant colors, legible fonts, and an organized layout to make the flyer easily understandable and engaging for the audience. A well-designed flyer can help create a positive image of the event and encourage greater participation.
Flyers for Social Club BCN
In May 2023, I was contacted by a social club in Barcelona to create two promotional flyers for events held at the same club.
The first event was a freestyle rap, featuring the participation and performances of artists Jota.Shoy, Peruvian Fam, Flavor, and Goiko.
To best represent the artists' image, I opted for a street-inspired graphic design, using a light color (white). I chose a black background with a brick texture to create contrast and highlight the text containing the event information.

In the second promotional flyer, it was about a DJ session reggae event featuring renowned DJ Mapuxesound, well-known in the Spanish social club scene.
The graphic design of this flyer is completely different, as it reflects the sunny and positive nature of reggae music. Therefore, in the design process, I paid special attention to the choice of colors for the elements that align with this concept. The DJ's caricature was personally created by himself, while my task was to integrate it into a suitable and coherent environment.
